2nd ANNUAL BLUEGRASS MIDDLE SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY CHAMPIONSHIPS
WHEN: Saturday, October 17, 2026
WHERE: Marshall County High School, Benton KY 42025.
WHO: All Middle School Teams and Elementary Teams
PARKING/Entry Fee: There will be a $5 per car charge. Please let your parents/fans know.
ENTRANCE: HWY 68 only. The Hwy 641 entrance WILL BE CLOSED.
MEET SCHEDULE
1:30 PM Coaches meeting (at the Finish Line)
2:00 PM Girls MS 4000 meters
2:40 PM Boys MS 4000 meters
3:20 PM Girls Elementary Race 1 mile (grades K-5)
3:40 PM Boys Elementary Race 1 mile (grades K-5)
T-shirts for sale with a possibility of a pre-sale.
SCORING:
The varsity races will be scored using Hy-Tek software. Runners will be assigned race numbers.
AWARDS:
Middle Individuals Top 20 Overall
Team Awards Top 3 middle school
Elementary Top 20 Overall boys and top 20 girls
Top 2 Teams
INDIVIDUAL AWARDS:

Girls Middle $55.00Unlimited

Girls or Boys MS Individual $12.00Max 4 individuals - 5 is a team
Elementary School Race $5/individual or $50 max
Elementary Individuals can register day of the race, but it is PREFERRED that they enter beforehand by emailing cory.westerfield@marshall.kyschools.us (SCHOOL TEAMS: email list of names, gender, grade, school)
